Once the capital of the Holy Roman Empire, the Golden City of Prague is a hundred-spired city where history meets you in every path. Discover intriguing historical sites like Prague Castle and the Astronomical Clock and spend time strolling through the heart of Prague, with its well preserved13th-century houses and churches. You'll also have a chance to try the mineral springs at the world-renowned Spa town of Karlovy Vary.  

Day 1: Arrive Prague

Welcome to the Golden City of Prague. Make your way to your centrally located hotel for check-in, and then head out to start discovering your new surroundings.

Day 2: Prague

This morning enjoy a city tour of Prague highlighting the most important attractions and historical sites. Your professional guide will thoroughly acquaint you with Prague, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe with its thousand years old history and architecture. From the comfort of our air-conditioned bus, we will first show you the New Town with the Wenceslas Square, the National Museum, the National Theatre, a panoramic view of Prague Castle and the Lesser Town as well as the Charles Bridge. You will then continue with a visit to Prague Castle and the most dominant feature of Prague - the St. Vitus Cathedral. After visiting the grounds of Prague Castle, we will take you to the dock on the Vltava river where you'll board a tourist boat. Sit back and relax while admiring the beauty and panorama of Prague from a different perspective. From the upper deck, you will also see the famous Charles Bridge. Once the boat journey has finished, we continue with a short walk through the Jewish Quarter to the Old Town Square with the Astronomical Clock and Church of Týn, where this tour ends. This tour has a duration of approximately 3.5 hours and the remainder of the day is free to continue exploring on your own. (B)

Day 3: Karlovy Vary

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before departing on a full-day tour through the Czech countryside towards Karlovy Vary, or Carlsbad, the famous spa town in the Czech Republic known worldwide for the healing mineral springs that exist throughout the city. Nestled in a picturesque, forested valley at the confluence of the rivers Teplá and Ohre Rivers, Karlovy Vary's history begins during the reign of Charles IV in the 14th-century. Favourite health retreat for royalty & wealthy townsmen since the 16th-century, the healing powers of its thermal springs have been tested by such personalities as the Russian Tsar Peter the Great, Eduardo VII. from England, Goethe, Schiller, Beethoven, Karl Max and Chopin. Karlovy Vary is a very elegant city thanks to the imperial neo-Renaissance and Art Nouveau styles that intermingle, both in harmony with the exuberant surrounding landscape. The city is also well known for the famous Bohemian Moser Crystal. The entrance fee to the Moser factory is included, so you can visit the exhibition in the store and learn about its most beautiful creations before returning to Prague in the late afternoon. (B)

Day 4: Depart Prague

It is time to say goodbye to Prague. Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before making your way to the airport or railway station. (B)
