Following breakfast at the hotel head off for a guided wine tour of Chianti. Tour the charming town of Castellina where you will enjoy a wine tasting in its characteristic castle and then continue to the medieval village of Radda. In the afternoon, admire the lovely panoramic views as you travel back to Borgo San Luigi through the famous Wine Route. (B)
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before departing on your next Chianti discovery. Today's tour starts with a walk in the countryside around Siena and continues with a visit to the Monte Maggiore Abbey famous for its Gregorian Chants. We then continue to Montalcino, home of the world-renowned Brunello de Montalcino wine, for a visit and tasting of the famous Brunello and other wines. Enjoy some free time for a light lunch, on your own, and a visit of Sant' Antimo before returning to the hotel. The afternoon is yours to spend as you please. We suggest a visit to Siena, world-famous for its Palio, where you can admire the Duomo and the Piazza del Campo, or discover the picturesque hill town of San Gimignano, renowned for its medieval towers which dominate the town, and has been declared by UNESCO to be part of the World's Architectural Heritage.
