Visit renowned locations; learn the secrets of true Tuscan cuisine, taste local wines under the tutorage of the wine maker & stroll through historic streets. Our Taste of Tuscany tour is a 7-day experience focusing on life's finer things - Food, wine, culture and time to relax and enjoy them all!

Day 1: Rome | Twilight Stroll with Gelato Tasting

Benvenuti in Italia! Once you have collected your luggage & cleared customs, you’ll find your private driver waiting for you in the Arrivals area displaying your name on a board and ready to whisk you comfortably to your hotel in the centre of historic Rome. Check-in, relax and then in the late afternoon enjoy an intimate Rome walking tour helping you to get your bearings at the start of your trip to the Eternal City. You’ll visit the top sights and enjoy a gelato tasting. You’ll visit the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona and even see some Ancient Roman ruins along the way. Travelling in intimate groups of 15 people or fewer with an expert local tour guide you can ask questions, get recommendations and really get a feel for the city. This twilight stroll isn’t just about the sights though – it’s about giving you everything you need to enjoy a perfect vacation here. Throughout your tour, you’ll get all of your questions answered, from where to find great pizza to whether you should tip your cab driver. It’s your chance to mine an insider for knowledge, so be sure to take full advantage!

Day 2: Rome

Today is yours to pass as you choose. We recommend a walk down the famous chic Via Condotti, Rome's leading location for haute couture and "aspirational" window shopping. Or, a visit to the Villa Borghese Gardens or make your way to the Trevi Fountain where be sure to toss Three Coins to make sure that this is not your last visit to the Eternal City! (B) 

Day 3: Rome | Colloseum, Palatine Hill & Roman Forum

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and the morning at leisure to explore on your own. This afternoon's Imperial Rome Elite Tour includes a full visit to the three world-famous symbols of Ancient Rome: Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum. Today's tour starts at the Arch of Constantine, the largest and one of the best-preserved triumphal arches in Rome. From here our guide will take you inside the Colosseum (Skip-the-Line entrance). After exiting the Colosseum, you will visit its surrounding monuments and the Palatine Hill with the Roman Forum Archaeological Area (Skip-the-Line entrance). Just the views from the Palatine over the Forums or the Circus Maximus would be worth a trip to Italy. You will discover also the House of the Vestals, the various Temples, the Senate House, the Capitol Palace the Sacred Way and the Triumph Arches. The tour ends inside the Roman Forum and the rest of the afternoon yours to spend as you please. (B)

Day 4: Rome | Florence | Tuscany

This morning after breakfast, and in no great hurry, make your way to Rome’s railway station to board a high-speed train with reserved seats to Florence where you will find your private driver waiting to bring you to Borgo San Luigi. Relais Borgo San Luigi is a four-star hotel ideal for lovers of art, nature and gourmet food and wine. Tonight you will be treated to a Welcome Dinner at Borgo San Luigi's renowned restaurant. (B.D)

Day 5: Tuscany | Castellina & Radda in Chianti

Following breakfast at the hotel head off for a guided wine tour of Chianti. Tour the charming town of Castellina where you will enjoy a wine tasting in its characteristic castle and then continue to the medieval village of Radda. In the afternoon relax and admire the lovely panoramic views as you travel back to Borgo San Luigi through the famous Wine Route. (B)

Day 6: Tuscany | Monte Oliveto Maggiore Abbey & Montalcino

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before departing on your next Chianti discovery. Today's tour starts with a walk in the countryside around Siena and continues with a visit to the Monte Maggiore Abbey famous for its Gregorian Chants. Then to Montalcino, home of the world renowned Brunello de Montalcino wine, for a visit and tasting of the famous Brunello and other wines. Enjoy some free time for a light lunch, on your own, and a visit of Sant' Antimo before returning to the hotel. The afternoon is yours to spend as you please. (B)

Day 7: Tuscany

Today marks the end of your Taste of Tuscany vacation. At a time to suit your departing train or flight, your private driver will take you to the airport or railway station of Pisa or Florence to begin your journey home. (B)
