Our full-day tour to Silves and Monchique encompasses history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes. In Silves, the first Arab capital of the Kingdom of the Algarve, you will have free time to visit Silves Castle and the Cathedral, both built in the area's unique red stone. Enjoy free time for lunch on your own and the opportunity to visit the parish church and local handicraft shops. In the afternoon, we will wind our way through the Monchique mountains to reach Fóia Peak, the highest point in the Algarve featuring spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and the ocean, where you'll have free time to take pictures and an opportunity to taste one of the liqueurs typical of the region.
