This tour will give you a chance to wander back in time to the era of the Portuguese Discoveries. Aside from the golden church of St. Anthony, a national monument, Lagos is home to what was one of the main slave markets in Europe in the 15th century. Continue further west to Sagres with its beautiful unspoiled harbour, passing by the 15th-century Sagres fortress located on a rocky outcrop. You'll also visit Cape St.Vincent, the most southwesterly point of Europe known as "The end of the World" and have some time to see the most powerful European lighthouse. And you might even have the chance to admire one of the most unforgettable sunsets of your life. There will be free time during the tour to enjoy lunch on your own.
