This morning, meet your driver at the meeting point in Sorrento and transfer to the port of Piano di Sorrento. Check-in and embark on the typical Gozzo Sorrentino for your tour of Ischia. Dominated by Mt Epomeo, Ischia's a small but mountainous island off the northern tip of the Bay of Naples. Known as the Green Isle for its lush vegetation, with blossoming gardens, spa towns, and jaw-dropping scenery, Ischia makes for a delightful day trip from Sorrento. Tour around the island in Ischia, from the Maronti beach, the longest on the island at almost 3 km) to the Green Cave. After a stop for swimming, we head to the Aragonese Castle. Enjoy some free time in Ischia port (from 3 to 4 hours) in which you can explore the island on your own, maybe on board of one the iconic micro taxis (three-wheeled Apecar), a fun and unique way of touring Ischia and discover the main points of interest. The boat tour then continues towards Procida. While sailing around the island, we stop to admire the islet of Vivara, Terra Murata with the former prison of Palazzo d’Avalos, the wonderful village of Marina di Corricella famous for its multicoloured houses, the bay of Chiaiozza and much more. There will be a second stop for swimming and snorkelling, as well as snacks & drinks offered on board. Then relax, take in the wonderful views and enjoy a final limoncello tasting as you navigate back to Sorrento where you'll be transferred to the original meeting point. The tour lasts about 8 hours and is operated with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 14 participants.
