See Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and the Changing of the Guard; enjoy guided tours of the Tower of London and St Paul’s Cathedral followed by a relaxing River Thames cruise. Take in some of London’s most iconic sights including Westminster Abbey, Kensington Palace, Big Ben, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Albert Memorial. Witness this impressive Changing of the Guard ceremony outside either Buckingham Palace or Horse Guards Parade, where the New Guard exchanges duties with the Old Guard. There will be some free time for lunch on your own. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of St Paul's Cathedral (*) and discover the breathtaking interior and fascinating history of this magnificent masterpiece. Witness the tombs of some of the nation’s greatest heroes, poets and scientists including Admiral Lord Nelson, Sit Christopher Wren and the Duke of Wellington. Then it is on to the Tower of London for a guided tour of this formidable tower. The scene of Britain’s most dramatic, fascinating and surprising history, spanning over an impressive 1,000 years. Hear tales of imprisonment and execution; discover the famous Crown Jewels, Beefeaters and Tower Ravens, and learn about the wild animals that resided here for 600 years. At the end of our tour, head down to Tower Pier and hop on the next available boat for a scenic cruise down the River Thames, and your day will end around 5:30 pm at Westminster Pier. (*) On Sundays, when St.Paul’s Cathedral is closed for sightseeing, we will stop for photos and see the exterior of the Cathedral and then have extended time in the Tower of London.
