Alsace is certainly one of the most beautiful regions of France. This tour was designed to give visitors the opportunity to discover some of the most relevant sights of the region in a day. Departing from Colmar, visit the village of the traditional Alsatian village of Eguisheim. Surrounded by vineyards, its narrow and concentric streets highlight the architectural merits of its half-timbered houses, lovingly decorated with flowers. Passing by the town of Turkheim we reach the fairytale village of Riquewihr with its ancient ramparts and adorned colourful houses, where you'll enjoy free time for lunch and to explore on your own. Then follow the breathtaking Alsace Wine Route toward the Haut Koenigsbourg castle for a visit to this mighty castle. Along the way, a stop will be made to experience a wine-tasting session where you can sample some of Alsace's famous varietal wines such as Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris or Sylvaner. This tour has a duration of around 8 hours and expects to return to Colmar around 5:30 pm.
