You will enjoy stunning views before going on to learn lots of facts about the wines, their grape varieties, their terroir... and tasting them, all in a small-group setting with a maximum of 8 participants. Departing Aix en Provence, journey through the scenic landscapes of Sainte-Victoire Mountain, a source of inspiration for the famous painter Cézanne during the years of 1880 to 1883. The Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire vineyards are located east of the city of Aix-en-Provence, and like all the vineyards in Provence, are considered to be some of the most natural in France due to the drying effects of the Mistral wind. The poor and shallow soils, formed by limestone and argillaceous sandstone, produce high-quality vineyards. Enjoy wine tastings at two authentic and charming estates overlooking the Sainte Victoire Mountain, where you will sample tasty, full-bodied reds with excellent structure and subtle, elegant rosés. Wine tastings are included in 2 wine properties of the appellation and, if lucky, you might also meet the owner of the Domain. Duration 3.5 hours approx.
