You are visiting a genuine hub of nightlife, food, drink, designer shopping, culture & art. And for a bit of Scottish countryside, enjoy a day excursion to Loch Lomond National Park and Stirling Castle, and perhaps spot the world-famous Nessie on a trip to the Highlands!

Day 1: Glasgow

On arrival in Glasgow transfer independently to your centrally located hotel. Check-in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to spend as you please. Glasgow, Scotland's largest city, is one of the liveliest and most cosmopolitan destinations in Europe, a city of culture and design. It is a place of renaissance and renewal offering a distinct city experience with an upbeat café society, nightlife, designer shopping, culture and art.

Day 2: Glasgow at leisure

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and a full day at leisure to explore Scotland's largest city as you please. One of Europe’s liveliest and most cosmopolitan destinations, Glasgow offers visitors a distinct city experience with an upbeat café society, nightlife, designer shopping, culture & art. You may wish to start your day at George Square, the city’s main square with its 12 statues & lion flanked memorial and surrounded by some of Glasgow’s most important buildings - the Merchant’s House and the City Chambers, a masterpiece of Victorian Architecture, and then visit Glasgow’s impressive 12th-century Cathedral. Remember Glasgow’s museums & art galleries are free of charge and there are many to choose from - the Gallery of Modern Art, Burrell Collection, Scotland Street School Museum, and the wonderful Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum which boast fine collections of British & continental paintings, archaeological finds, weapons & armor, Flemish tapestries, silver & glassware and much more. Alternatively, you can spend some time at the lovely Glasgow Green, the city’s oldest park located within an easy walk from the city center. Or, if you are looking for some shopping therapy, take a stroll along bustling Sauchiehall Street where you’ll find the largest range of shops in the city, or on Argyle Street in the city's West End, a trendy area of cafés, restaurants, high-end shops, and posh hotels. And perhaps end your day with a tasting at one of Glasgow’s many specialist gin and whisky bars. (B)

Day 3: Stirling Castle, Loch Lomond & Cruise

Today you will experience the Highlands' natural forests, lochs, and mountains in Loch Lomond National Park and feel Scotland's past in the heartland of its great heroes - Rob Roy, Robert the Bruce, and William Wallace. Your route north to Stirling follows in the footsteps of the ancient invading armies. This land was the northernmost frontier of the Roman Empire and was under attack during the Wars of Scottish Independence. As you approach Stirling, you can spot the magnificent castle. Perched on the high volcanic rock, this stronghold is known as the ‘Key to Scotland’ and has witnessed battles that were turning points in Scottish history. You can learn about its past and discover the secrets of the royal court when you visit. From Stirling, you travel into the Highlands to an area known as the Trossachs National Park. This land is full of shimmering lochs, rugged mountain tops, and forest-filled glens. And it used to be a perfect place for outlaws like Rob Roy to hide. Hear the tale of this fascinating folk hero and enjoy the magnificent nature all around you before we stop for lunch (not included) in picturesque Aberfoyle. In the afternoon, the journey continues through the national park to the "bonnie" banks of Loch Lomond. Framed by majestic mountains and adorned with over 30 islands, this stunning Loch has been celebrated in songs and poems for centuries. Here you'll join an hour-long cruise here to admire Loch Lomond from a different angle and enjoy the stories of the local wildlife, folklore, and history. Back on dry land, cast the last glance at the loch and the national park before you start your return journey to Glasgow, where you arrive in the early evening. (B)
