Enjoy a very entertaining day visiting Avila and Segovia, two cities rich in history. The first stop on our tour will be in Avila, a city that preserves the most ancient and complete fortified complex in Spain (XI century). Follow your guide on a walking tour of the Old Town to discover the impressive history of this city with its Romanesque-style churches, Gothic palaces, and a fortified cathedral of the Middle Ages. While visiting the Walls of Ávila, imagine the stories they have seen through the centuries and marvel at the fortification and towers, which have granted the city a World Heritage Site status by UNESCO. The tour then continues to Segovia, where you can savour a wonderful gastronomic menu for lunch (*lunch option) or have one hour & a half of free time for lunch on your own. If you opted for free time, you may want to take advantage of it and see the most important roman civil construction in the Peninsula, the Aqueduct of Segovia. Meet your guide again in front of the Cathedral for an exterior visit, then walk through the old Jewish quarter of the city following your guide towards the Alcazar of Segovia where you'll enjoy a guided visit of this most spectacular fortification.
