Day 1 Arrival in Seville
Upon arrival in Seville make your way to your selected hotel for check-in and overnight accommodation. Alternatively you can also book optional transfers from/to Seville airport or railway station. The remainder of the day is at leisure to start exploring Seville on your own.
Day 2 Seville
Following breakfast at your hotel, depart on a guided sightseeing tour of Seville followed by a river cruise.
Discover the most emblematic monuments of Seville by minibus: the University, the Old Tabac Factory scene of the story of Carmen, Bizet's famous opera character. You will then see the Plaza de España, the centerpiece of the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, followed by the famous building known as the Queen Sewing box "El Costurero de la Reina", the San Telmo Palace and the old Triana neighbourhood.
We will then continue with a lovely cruise along the Guadalquivir River that will present us stunning views from a different perspective. Admire the untouched sides of the Golden Tower, famous Calle Betis, the Bullring, and Triana bridge, the oldest bridge in the city which was designed by Gustav Eiffel, as well as the more modern bridges and the Pavilions built during the 1992 World Expo, plus Isla de la Cartuja and its famous Monastery where Christopher Columbus lived for several years & planned his journeys towards the unknown. Rest of the day free and overnight accommodation. (B)
Day 3 Cordoba
Today enjoy a full-day guided tour to Cordoba where we begin by exploring its most precious treasures starting with the majestic Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos. After immersing ourselves in the beauty of the Mezquita, a spectacular testimony to the Caliphate era, we continue on foot and explore Cordoba's famous Jewish quarter, full of life and great shops. Meander through its most emblematic streets such as 'Callejon de las Flores, a pure joy for the senses, towards the Gran Maimonides square, stopping for a visit of the Synagogue. Following the tour enjoy free time to stroll on your own, shop or sample the wonderful Cordobese cuisine in one of the many local restaurants. Return to Seville for overnight accommodations. (B)
Day 4 Seville
Today marks the end of your Seville City Break. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before check-out. Or ask your Travel Agent about extending your stay with CIT Tours. (B)
