Discover the Wonders of Portugal's capital city Lisbon, plus Sintra and the famous pilgrimage town of Fatima. Spread out over the steep hills of the banks of the River Tagus, Lisbon is characterized by its quaint neighbourhoods where you’ll hear the sounds of Fado music & the smell of fresh barbecued sardines enticing passers-by into the many small & traditional taverns

Day 1: Arrival in Lisbon

Upon arrival in Lisbon make your way to your selected hotel for check-in. An optional transfer can be booked on request. Rest of the day at leisure to relax or start exploring on your own. Overnight accommodation.

Day 2: Lisbon

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning you will discover Lisbon's history and traditions during a guided tour featuring the city's main attractions - Jerónimos Monastery, Tower of Belem, the Monument to the Discoveries, Coach Museum, Alfama and Rossio. This is a great introduction to this magnificent city, including guided visits, museum entrance & Port wine tasting. For lunch we suggest you try some typical Portuguese dishes at one of the many restaurants in town and then spend the afternoon continuing to explore Lisbon on your own. (B)

Day 3: Sintra, Cascais & Estoril

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and the morning at leisure to spend as you please. In the afternoon, a second sightseeing tour will take you to Sintra, Cabo da Roca, Cascais & Estoril. Discover Sintra, a delightful village where the Royal Family used to spend their summers and visit the magnificent Sintra Palace. Continue exploring this charming coastal region where you will also admire Europe's Westernmost point (Cabo da Roca), the incredible Boca do Inferno, the Cosmopolitan Cascais and the Casino Estoril gardens. Overnight in Lisbon. (B)

Day 4: Depart Lisbon

Today marks the end of your Lisbon Experience. Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Or ask your Travel Agent about extending your stay with CIT Tours. (B)
